An Infinite Alley is a renovation for a famous Kuanzhai Alley in Chengdu by creating a network of delivery routes and a expandable vertical“alley”building.
On the urban scale, the drones network (mitochondrial platforms) as a kind of urban infrastructure will build connections about delivery, to strengthen the social and economic functions.

Multi-dimensional expansion
Organic EvolvementThe energy network is not limited to the two- dimensional ground any more, but provided a vertical direction of expansion. When the drones enter the terminals of the energy network, they supply continuous energy to the Kuanzhai alley.
Each of terminal units in this energy network contains various sub-units, like evolving biological cells, from the ground to the sky. This process reflects the evolution of the living organisms’ constant self-adjustment against entropy increase.
Assuming that the epidemic in 2037 reappeares, humans still have not been able to respond quickly to new viruses. Isolation at home and online teaching are as normal as yesterday.
This time, however, the new urban infrastructure actively meets the need for efficient supply flows. But even if the supply is so sufficient, people still yearn for a new world of free movement. At the same time, how to escape from this chaotic nature may become the main concern in society.
At that point, what should we gonging to do? Continue to explore towards the sky, or wait for the world recover by itself…?
